A Family Dinner

Advent is a special time in the Christian calendar where we wait in great anticipation for the birth of the savior Jesus Christ. As this is such an important time to start off the Christian year, this year, we're commemorating it with a Maples family dinner.

On November 27th, the first Sunday in Advent, at 5:00 p.m., we will celebrate and fellowship with soup and grilled cheese sandwiches together. During this time, we will lead families in making their own advent wreath so that they can light a candle and have a devotional with their families for every week in Advent. We will also lead families in lighting the first candle in the Advent wreath with an associated devotional.
