Every year, the Maples Men's Club puts on a friendship banquet in February. It is a night where members of the community come together to enjoy steaks cooked by the Maples Men's Club and participate in the dessert auction, where people can bid on desserts submitted by members of the congregation. All of the proceeds of the friendship banquet go to the Maples Men's Club various ministry areas, especially their yearly scholarship awards.
The Friendship Banquet will take place online this year. We are taking steak orders online. (Click here to submit your steak order.) Pick up will be be in the afternoon on February 13th. You'll need to submit an individual steak order for each individual member of your family. STEAK ORDERS CAN ONLY BE SUBMITTED THROUGH THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 11TH.
We need dessert submissions to give away in an online auction! If you have a dessert that you would like to submit, you can sign up by clicking here! Bring your dessert when you come to pick up your steak.
The desserts submitted will be placed on our Facebook page as individual posts. You can submit bids for these desserts in the comments section of each post. Then, on Sunday, February 14th at 4:30 pm, we will host a live auction on our Facebook livestream. The highest bid placed on each individual item's post will be the starting bid for the live auction. If you win a dessert, you can pick it up throughout the following week.
