Saturday, March 25th, you are invited to participate in a church work day starting at 8am. We're going to be taking time to clean up the grounds to make them more presentable and prepare Maples for upcoming spring events and the summer! 

Tasks will include:

• Clearing out gutters and gutter guards
• Lawn mowing & edging
• Spreading new mulch
• Clean interior windows
• Removing residual daycare materials and curtains
• Organizing storage rooms
• Chair repair
• Taking apart and staining wood pallets
• Transporting scrap to local landfill

If any of these tasks sound like they're up your alley, please plan on attending this event! We are asking you to bring yard tools and any heavy duty tools and equipment you might have spare. In particular, we will need the use of someone's trailer to haul scrap to the landfill. We'll also need hedge trimmers, weed eaters, rakes, edgers, shovels, push mowers, pressure washers, blowers, sprayers, and wheelbarrows. We will have plenty of cleaning equipment, but we certainly will not turn down any that you may bring.

If you know any students that need community service hours, this will be a wonderful opportunity to get 4 hours!

If the weather is uncooperative, then our reschedule date is the following Saturday, April 1st.
