For the past few years, The Arc of Northwest Mississippi has hosted "Cruisin With The Arc," an antique car show that allowed members of the community to come together for music, food, and voting for their favorite antique cars. This year, The Arc has paired up with the Olive Branch Dream Center and combined this event with the annual Desoto Wings Competition, a competition to see who has the best wings in DeSoto County, to create Wheels & Wings! All proceeds from this event will go to The Arc Northwest Mississippi, a nonprofit organization that provides tools and support for neurodivergent individuals in DeSoto County, and the DeSoto Dream Center, a nonprofit organization that supports families in DeSoto County affected by poverty.

Wheels & Wings will be a day of fun for the whole family. There will be music, vendors, bounce houses, hot wing challenges, and, of course, voting for your favorite wings and antique cars. At Wheels & Wings, participants will be able to view a host of antique cars. They'll be able to buy tickets to vote for their favorites, and at the end of the event, the winning cars will receive a trophy! Attendees will also be able to sample the best wings that DeSoto County has to offer, and contribute their voting chips to their favorite ones! 

The event will take place on Saturday, April 29th at the Olive Branch City Park. Registration for the car show will begin at 8:00am, and the event will begin at 9:00am. Voting will be open until 2:00pm. The Wing Competition will begin at 11:00am and end at 2:00pm, and the blazing hot wing challenge will begin soon after at 2:30. Prizes for both competitions will be given out at 3:30pm. Raffle prizes will be given out throughout the event.

As with previous years, Maples will be hosting a booth throughout the event to give out merchandise and commune with the people of Olive Branch. This booth is important not only to bring more people to Maples, but also for Maples to show our support for these local nonprofits.
