The Lenten Prayer Walk is a meditative walk that takes us through the passion of Christ over the course of several interactive prayer stations placed along it. The prayer walk is built from scratch each year by Maples' altar guild. These stations can range from a quiet comtemplative time at the altar, to a walkway beneath array of nails dangling from above to symbolize the overwhelming pain of Christ, to a variety of embalming spices and fluids to smell.

The prayer walk begins in the narthex, will take you through the sanctuary, and back out through the narthex. It will be open on April 2nd from 5:00 to 10:00 pm. You can come at any time during this window and can stay for as long or as little as you would like. While the prayer walk can take anywhere between 2 minutes and 30 minutes depending on your own pace, people usually spend about 10 minutes going through all the stations.
