Children's

The Children's Ministry Department at Maples actively strives to provide opportunities for children to learn about Jesus and His great love for them, to praise God, to show God's love to others, and to develop an understanding of the Bible.

Sunday School , Children's Worship (Live B.I.G.), and Wednesday night classes are intentionally planned to teach a Bible story or principle using strategies that engage children in play, crafts, active listening, songs, and games.

Seasonal activities give us opportunity for fellowship and fun. The Easter Egg Hunt in the spring, VBS in the summer, Fall Festival in October, and The Happy Birthday Jesus Party in December are exciting events that bring together children of all ages. Please look for these events on the church calendar and plan to join us!

2012 Children's Information Form

Please complete a 2012 Children's Information Form for each child in your household who attends Maples Memorial United Methodist Church. The information that you provide helps us identify third graders who receive Bibles, 6th graders who promote to youth ministries, and 12th grade graduates. We also use the information to inform teachers of medical and food allergy concerns.

Information forms are available and can be returned at the Information Desk, the Live B.I.G. Table, the Nursery Desk, or you may access the form using this link:
