Greetings from the Music Ministry at Maples Memorial UMC. We feel blessed that you have taken time to find out more about the Music ministry at Maples. Our desire is to bring people into a life changing celebration of Jesus Christ.
We want to lead people into a life celebration of Jesus Christ and equip followers to lead others into this celebration of Jesus Christ.
We at Maples desire to be relevant and authentic in worshipping a God who is still as relevant today as He has always been. May God bless you as you prayerfully consider Reaching Up, Reaching Within, and Reaching Out with Maples!

Description of Music Ensembles
Cherub Choir (ages 3-5 yrs old)
The cherub choir meets on Wednesday evenings 6:00 to 6:30 p.m. in the Choir Room (Rm 108). The children sing in Sunday morning services once a month. Amy Allen directs the Cherub Choir. email: msuallen@comcast.net
Maples Praise (1st - 5th grade)
Maples praise meets on Wednesday evenings 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Choir Room (Rm 108). This choir presents a musical each semester, and sings once a month in Sunday morning worship services. Rebecca Treadway is the director of this choir. email: ratreadway@comcast.net
Youth Choir (6th - 12th grade)
The Youth choir in the Choir Room (Rm 108) Sunday afternoons at 4:00 to 4:45 p.m.. The Youth choir will sing in Sunday morning worship once a month. Please contact Joey Lott for more information about this choir.
Youth Handbells (6th - 12th grade)
Youth handbells rehearse in the Choir Room (Rm 108) Sunday afternoons 3:00 to 3:45 p.m. Please contact Joey Lott for more information about this ensemble.
Adult Handbells
Handbells rehearse on Wednesdays in the Choir Room (Rm108) 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. This ensembles plays regularly in worship. For more information, please contact Joey Lott.
Guitar Group
The Guitar Group meets on Mondays in the Choir Room (Rm 108) 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. This is a beginner class. The purpose is to develop musicians to offer their talents in our morning worship services. For more information, please contact Joey Lott.
Chancel Choir (Adult Choir)
The Chancel Choir leads worship during the morning services each Sunday. This talented group sings an assortment of styles from hymns to gospel to praise medleys to classical. The Chancel Choir rehearses on Wednesdays 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. Please contact Joey Lott for more information.
Ladies Ensemble
The Ladies ensemble rehearses on Sundays in the Choir Room (Rm. 108) 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. This ensemble provides music for the 8:45 a.m. worship service. Contact Joey Lott for more information.
